Anna qualified as a practitioner in l982.  She first had Alexander
lessons in l973 when, as an EU Conference Interpreter, she needed help
with public speaking.  Attracted by the relevance of the Alexander Technique to the demands of
everyday living she later took the 3-year training course and qualified as a practitioner
. She speaks fluent French and German and is willing to teach in these languages.


She runs private practices in Dorking and Guildford, with a particular focus on computer-related injury.  She also gives and attends professional development training regularly.  Individual workstation assessments as well as special workshops for Health and Safety Officers can be organised on request.  

Anna was one of the teacher practitioners working with the Medical Research Council on the trial of the Alexander Technique and back pain reported in the British Medical Journal. See details:
